The Chen Wen-cheng Memorial Square (conceptual)

Taipei City, Taiwan

The slicing, not tearing, is a poetic intervention.

It set off an opportunity for us to talk to this land and historical events, and simultaneously form a clear, stoppable campus space.
The mirrored ink stone is the edge of the landscape.
Gazing at this edge, we see the event, seeing ourselves, and the sky that is being carried out.
The white pebble pavement is thousands of crystal drops on the square.
The sound of stepping is the peace that the land gives back to us.
You may see one meditates alone, some picnic and sun bath around, etc.
So, from now on, we remember the weight of freedom and the power of courage.

Under such a campus and democratic mechanism, there are still many lingering shadows, whether external or internal, and this is why we are more responsive to the future, and it is also the most important asset that Dr. Chen Wen Cheng has brought us in the process of competition.
